Who writes SavesToGrow
All content is written and edited by Prashant Thakur, the founder of SavesToGrow. Prashant is not a SEBI-registered financial advisor — he is a self-taught personal-finance enthusiast who writes from real, first-hand experience of budgeting, saving, and investing in India. This is a deliberate, transparent choice: our authority comes from lived experience and careful research, not from selling advice.
How we research our content
- Primary sources first. For tax, investing, and regulatory topics we rely on official sources — the Income Tax Department, SEBI, RBI, AMFI, and the NSE/BSE — rather than second-hand summaries.
- Real numbers. Our calculators and examples use current, verifiable rules (for example, the FY 2025-26 income tax slabs) and we show our working wherever we can.
- Plain English. We explain concepts simply without dumbing them down or overstating what we know.
How we keep content accurate and up to date
- Tax rules, slabs, and regulations change — we review and update our money guides when they do, and note the financial year they apply to.
- If we get something wrong, we fix it. Spotted an error? Email us at info@savestogrow.com and we’ll review it promptly.
- We update older articles rather than leaving stale information online.
Our promise on honesty
- This is education, not advice. Nothing on SavesToGrow is personalised financial, tax, or investment advice. Always do your own research or consult a SEBI-registered advisor before acting.
- No hype. We don’t promise guaranteed returns or promote get-rich-quick schemes.
